Prologue

When the heavens are torn open once more, and the stars lose their courses then shall terror rain down from the firmament. The sacred gates shall be flung wide, and the chains that once bound shall be shattered. Fangs of cruel sharpness shall turn upon the earth again. wretched land—your day of sorrow draws near, and you shall be drenched in blood on the day when the Eight Gems emerge once more beneath the sun. The Demon King shall rise again. Remember well, ye who possess wisdom! On the day the Eight Stars are scattered anew, that day shall be called the Day of Nightmares. The light of heaven shall once more pour down upon the sky, and a roar that shakes the earth shall fill the abyss of death. From a world long forgotten, a single light shall journey forth unto this land.
